  News In Brief


Memorial Feast of Parumala Thirumeni and our Church Perunal will be conducted on Saturday, October 29 evening to Sunday, October 30. Rev.Fr. George Mathew (Washington DC) will be the chief celebrant.

On Saturday evening prayer will be start at 6.00 pm followed by Rasa at the church surroundings, Benediction and Perunal Sadya.

On Sunday morning prayer will be started at 7.45 A M followed by Holy Qurbana, Rasa, Doopa Prarthana, Kaimuth and Nercha vilampu. After light refreshments anniversary of the Spirtitual organizations will be conducted followed by Perunal lunch.

Everyone is requested to participate in all these programs and obtain the blessings of Parumala Thirumeni.


By the grace of God we have finished the Front Elevation Works. The Dedication service was conducted on August 15 (Assumption Feast Day).

On that day evening prayer started at 7.00 pm followed by the public meeting. After the public meeting Dedication service was conducted outside in front of the Mukavaram. Fr. George John performed the dedication service.


This year’s O V B S will be conducted on Saturday, July 23 and Saturday, July 30. The closing ceremony will be conducted on Sunday, July 31.
All those who are able to come and help please do so. University students are also welcome to do volunteer work


An essay competition was conducted by our Diocese for the members of the Martha Mariam Samajam in February 2016. The theme was Pampady Thirumeni an embodiment of prayers and a great example of unfailing love and service to humanity.

Smitha John got the first prize at Diocese level and Molly Thomas and Elizabeth George got consolation prizes.

Hearty congratulation to the winners and all participants and the sectaries.

Blesson is the son of Mr. Thomas Mathew and Mrs. Mini Thomas. He graduated from Miramar High School. Blesson is going to University of Central Florida.

Sarah is the daughter of Mr. Abraham Varghese Vadakara and Mrs. Rebecca Vadakara. She graduated from Suncoast Community High School. Sarah is going to University of Florida.

Jibin Jinu
Jibin is the son of Mr. Jinu Varghese and Mrs. Raji Jinu. He graduated from Western High School. Jibin is going to Florida International University.

Jaison Mathai
Jaison is the son of Mr.Joy Mathai and Mrs. Shirly Mathai. He graduated from Miramar High School. Jaison is going to University of Florida.

Justin Varghese
Justin is the son of Mr. Sajimon Varghese and Mrs. Sally Varghese. He graduated from Cypress Bay High School. Justin is going to Florida International University.

Joshua Umman
Joshua is the son of Mr. Mathew Umman and Mrs. Jani Umman. He graduated from Western High School. Joshua is going to Florida State University.


The Sunday School annual examination will be conducted on Sunday, May 22.


A special meeting will be conducted on Sunday, May 08 after the Holy Qurbana to felicitate this year’s High School graduates Justin Varghese, Jibin Jinu, Jaison Mathai, Blesson Thomas, Joshua Umman and Sarah Abraham.

The annual retreat of our church will be conducted from March 05th - 06th. Rev. Fr. George Mathew (Washington) will be the retreat Father. Please schedule your work so that you can participate in the retreat.


This year Three days lent will start on January 18 and ends on January 21. There will be evening prayers at the church (Monday—Wednesday) 7:00 pm-8:00 pm.


The year-end and new-year service will start at 9:30 p.m. on Thursday, December 31st. New Years Eve may be a busy day because of family get togethers and dinner parties. Also many people may be afraid of the traffic on that day. However it will be a blessing for those who start the New Year at God’s House by participating in the service.
